PERSONA emerges as a groundbreaking force from Tunisia, merging the intensity of modern metal with the complexity of progressive and extreme elements. Fronted by the captivating presence of a female lead, this band distinguishes itself with a blend of thrash and heavy riffs, synthesized effects, and classical orchestration, setting a dramatic stage for profound vocal performances. Since its formation in 2012 by lead guitarist Melik Melek Khelifa and singer/pianist Jelena Dobric, PERSONA has evolved through various musical explorations, solidifying its unique sound. The band, now complete with Yosri Ouada on rhythm guitar, Youssef Aouadi on drums, Walid Bessadok on keyboards, and Nesrine Mahbouli on bass, stands at the forefront of the Tunisian metal scene, extending their influence internationally.
