Paul Potts is a British opera singer who was thrust into the national spotlight in 2007, when he won the first season of Britain's Got Talent. Before his victory on the popular competition show, Potts had been working a modest job at a warehouse, having only previously displayed his singing talents in some local productions. In the years since his win, however, he has recorded some slickly produced albums, toured the world and enjoyed life as one of the modern era's more popular tenor voices.
