Pat Braden is a multifaceted artist hailing from Yellowknife, NT Canada, where he serves as a Bassist, Singer/Songwriter, and Storyteller. With a rich background spanning from his early days playing with high school concert bands to collaborating with blues, rock, and country acts, he has cultivated a diverse musical palette. In addition to showcasing his prowess on the Bass, Pat adeptly navigates the unique soundscape of the Chapman Stick ™, blending guitar-like melodies with bass grooves to enrich song arrangements. His journey into storytelling began in 2003, inspired by crafting bedtime tales for his daughters, leading to the creation of captivating narratives rooted in the northern landscapes of Canada. Through performances at festivals and his solo piece "A Place to Call Home," Pat weaves tales of community, eccentric characters, and personal reflections, offering a poignant tribute to the influences shaping his life in Yellowknife.
