PaperDoll, an indie rock outfit hailing from New York City, has made waves both domestically and internationally with their captivating sound. Led by vocalist Teresa Lee and backed by Patrick Moloney on guitar, Jack Koch on bass guitar, and Will Haywood Smith on drums, the band garnered significant attention during their tours of China, particularly at the Shanghai World Expo in August 2010 and October 2010. Their performances, marked by high-energy and action-packed sets, earned them praise from Chinese press and a growing fanbase in the region. PaperDoll's fusion of English and Chinese music, showcased in their CD release with Loft Records in Tianjin, further solidified their presence in the Chinese music scene. Back in the US, their track "If Nothing Happened" gained recognition when featured in a national TV commercial for Vick's DayQuil, as well as in Blender's "Five Songs We Love." Their single "Silent" was notably featured in Quentin Lee's film "White Frog," cementing PaperDoll's reputation as a band with both commercial appeal and artistic depth.
