Pants Velour, an American hip hop ensemble hailing from New York City, finds its roots in the collaborative efforts of Eli Northrup, Nellie Thompson, Sam Coe, and Josh Raff, who came together while studying at Cornell University in 2006. Following their graduation in 2007, the group reconvened in New York City the following year. Eli Northrup, known for his rap skills and crowd-energizing presence, serves as a rapper and "Hypeman" for the group, while Niki Darling takes the helm as the lead vocalist. Signed to Tommy Boy Entertainment, Pants Velour brings a fresh and dynamic energy to the hip hop scene.
