The Ontario Reign hail from the sunny Los Angeles exurb of Ontario and so naturally the hockey outfit functions as an affiliate to the Los Angeles Kings. In order to create the Pacific Division inside the AHL's Western Conference, several teams moved from their original locations in 2015. The Reign moved as the Manchester Monarchs and changed their name, however the original Monarchs stayed in New Hampshire to play in the East Coast Hockey League. The Reign play at the Citizens Business Bank Arena which holds approximately 9,736 fans.
