Formed in Denver, Colorado in 1999 by bassist Johnny James Qualley and singer Adam Patrick Hill, Oakhurst blends traditional bluegrass with rock & roll and a kamikaze rhythmic sensibility. Transitioning to a full-time nationally touring act in 2004, Oakhurst has released five records, including their most recent album "Barrel" (2012), produced in Nashville, Tennessee by Joe Pisapia. With their dynamic fusion of genres, Oakhurst offers a unique and electrifying musical experience.
