The Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic constantly demonstrates its ability to entertain crowds by incorporating show tunes, Disney songs and Top 40 tunes into its performances. By doing this, the organization has managed to entice young crowds that might typically have nothing to do with a philharmonic group if it was filling its shows with old choir-like numbers that sound dated and almost unfit for the 21st Century. Founded in 1971, the Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic changes its set constantly to coincide with the ever-changing seasons of the year, but the group can nevertheless always be counted upon to put on a rousing show.
