Founded in 1978 under Artistic Director Diana Byer, New York Theatre Ballet has become the most widely seen chamber ballet company in the US. With a community based in its wide reaching tours, Ballet School NY and LIFT Community Service Programs, the company has become known for its intimate accessibility. New York Theatre Ballet is dedicated to offering both contemporary pieces as well as classic masterpieces and consistently tours each production in the US and internationally.
