Founded in 1991 as a touring company from the Shanghai Magic Troupe, the New Shanghai Circus features over forty acrobats showcasing classic Chinese dance and physical performance art. The performers display incredible feats of strength and skill in a rotating lineup of bicycle tricks, aerial ballet, plate spinning, hoop diving and more.
