Manuel Barrueco was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, in 1952. A famous classical music guitarist, Barrueco is a faculty professor at Peabody Conservatory, Maryland. Barrueco has recorded many well-known albums, the most acclaimed of which was ¡Cuba!, released in 2006.
