Movits! is a music group from Sweden that creates a modern mixture of swing and hip-hop. Composed of brothers Johan and Anders Rensfeldt, as well as Joakim Nilsson, the three-piece outfit dropped its debut album, Äppelknyckarjazz, in 2008 and earned international acclaim for marrying two seemingly incompatible genres into one buoyant, infectious sound. Movits! has since extended its reach into unsuspecting music scenes around the world with its hip-hop rhythms, jazz instrumentation and intelligent lyrics.
