Based in Montgomery, Alabama, the Montgomery Biscuits is a minor league baseball team that joined the Southern League as the Orlando Twins in 1973. After a few name changes from the Twins to the Sun Rays and the Cubs to simply the Rays, the team became the Montgomery Biscuits in 2004. The team currently serves as the AA affiliate for the Tampa Bay Rays.
