Monkey Toast is a Canadian improvisational theater company based out of Toronto. Founded in 2003 by David Shore, it is best known for its flagship improv show, "The Improvised Talk Show." The improv show, hosted by Shore himself, features interviews as well as improvised comedy scenes. The company also has its own podcast called "The Panel Show Podcast," wherein journalists and improvisers are invited to discuss real-life issues. "The Arkin and Friends -" another of the company's improv shows, welcomes stand-up comedians to perform an opening set. Since its founding, the company has received multiple Canadian Comedy Awards and also set up shop in the UK.
