Lloyd is an American R&B singer from New Orleans. His first single, Southside, which he recorded together with his friend and fellow artist Ashanti, was released in 2004. In 2006, the single "You (featuring Lil Wayne)" was released on MySpace, paving the way for the release of Lloyd's second album, Street Love, which received considerable attention on the pop charts. Lloyd continues to be active with his smooth, funky voice and modern R&B sound.
