Formed in 1997, the Mendelssohn Piano Trio has established itself as a prominent ensemble with over 500 performances worldwide. Notable achievements include presenting the complete Beethoven Piano Trios cycle at the Smithsonian American Arts Museum and showcasing both Schubert Trios at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. Their discography boasts 15 CDs, including a highly praised 8 CD set featuring all Haydn Piano Trios released on Centaur Records. With a repertoire spanning over 100 works, the trio embraces music from various periods, showcasing their versatility and passion for the genre.
