Akron, Ohio-based singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur has been lauded from what seems like day one. Discovered initially by Peter Gabriel in the 1990s, Arthur was signed to Gabriel's Real World imprint and went on to release his debut album Big City Secrets, in 1997. The legends don't stop there though, as Arthur's music has been covered by the likes of Michael Stipe and Justin Timberlake. Arthur has also collaborated with folks like Ben Harper and Dhani Harrison, with whom he formed the supergroup Fistful of Mercy.
