Matt Wertz

Matt Wertz is a singer/songwriter who's originally from LaVale, MD although he now calls Nashville home. While Wertz's interest in music started at a young age, it was his interest in visual art forms that led him to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Design. It was while he was living in the dorms that his musical talents and ambitions grew. Wertz gained a considerable fan base after releasing his first album, Somedays, in 2001 with the help of producer Steve Wilson. He has since released nearly a record a year, including his seventh studio album, 2012's Snow Globe.
