Marty Allen, a Southern Ontario artist deeply rooted in honky-tonk and rockabilly, channels the essence of life through his music. Influenced by legends like Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, Allen's upbringing immersed him in the rich sounds of Sun Record artists, shaping his musical journey from an early age. Transitioning from honky-tonk apprenticeship to forming his own band, Allen has released five independent albums, including the acclaimed Sun Sessions (2009), recorded at the iconic Sun Records Studio in Memphis. With a blend of originals and covers, Allen captures the raw energy of 1950s recordings, backed by his band, the Cadillac Cowboys, and continues to captivate audiences with his authentic sound.
