The Federation is from Fairfield, California formed by producer Rick Rock, who recruited its members Doonie Baby, Stressmatic and Goldie in 2002. The hip hop group’s first single “Hyphy” was released in 2003 and the title soon became a term that was used throughout the Bay Area hip hop music scene.
