Lori McKenna is a folk singer/songwriter from Stoughton, Massachusetts who first started writing songs as a teenager. After she released her debut LP, Paper Wings and Halo, in 2000, the album helped establish McKenna as a premier source of dainty folk material in the New England region. Though she has never achieved crossover appeal or massive mainstream success, McKenna is perfectly content to maintain her modestly sized fan base.
