Joey Arias, aka Joseph Arias, is an American drag artist from Fayetteville, NC. A part of the cabaret industry since the 1980s, he has a strong body of work in other fields like comedy, acting and writing as well. He came into the limelight in the early 1990s, when he covered songs for the show Strange Fruit, performed in New York City. He then moved to Las Vegas and landed a spot in Zumanity, a Cirque du Soleil production. He went on to work in other successful shows such as Arias with a Twist and films like Big Top Pee-wee and Mistress of the Dark.
