Lil John is a house music DJ who has been fostering the EDM scene of Chicago since the 1980s. From spinning records for the college radio station WKKC to manning the Top 40s on WBBM, he amassed a rabid underground following before rising to recognition with his event series Monday Mingle, which brought nationally recognized artists such as Ludaris and Trey Songz, to play with Chicago's up and coming talent.
