Light Asylum is the collaboration of Brooklyn-based artists Shannon Funchess and Bruno Coviello. The synthpop/post punk duo released its debut effort, the In Tension EP in 2010 with Mexican Summer records. Light Asylum dropped its first full length eponymous album in 2012, offering an electronic new wave sound that is forceful and hypnotic at the same time.
