UK production duo LFO is a legendary techno outfit, famous for their 1990 track "LFO," which used a distinct bassline that would be heavily replicated by house and techno producers years later. The group's name stands for the synthesizer setting "low frequency oscillator," which manipulates bass frequencies. LFO remained fairly inactive from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s, and returned in September of 2011 for a concert at the Bestival Music Festival.
