Leather Strip is the industrial electronic project of Danish composer Claus Larsen. Rising to attention as one of Zoth Ommog record's prominent acts, the group spent the next decade establishing itself as a pioneer of electronic body music with records like its 1990 debut The Pleasure of Penetration, 1993's Underneath the Laughter, and Self-Inflicted from 1997. As the music industry transitioned into the 21st century and EDM found its moment in mainstream culture, the band stayed true to its style without falling prey to the dance music trend of the day. Leather Strip continues to built its massive discography with LPs such as 2016's Spaectator.
