The Las Vegas Wranglers was a professional ice hockey team based out of Las Vegas, Nevada that competed in the Pacific Division of the ECHL's Western Conference. The team was founded in 2003 as an expansion franchise after the East Coast Hockey League took over the West Coast Hockey League to form the ECHL. Having made its first appearance playing in the Kelly Cup finals in 2008, the franchise had built a reputation as being one of the more physically challenging teams in the league.
