Four nurse anesthetists make up the American group The Laryngospasms. Founded in the 1990s at a Christmas party by then-nursing students, it performs medical parodies of popular tracks such as "Breaking Up is Hard to Do." Over the course of its history, the group has undergone numerous changes in its lineup. However, its popularity amongst its fanbase has never wavered. Its top songs include "Ring of Fire," "I'll Never Sleep Tonight," "Rollin'," "I'll Be There For You," "Jessi's Job," "The Hammertoe," "Giving the Anesthesia," "Ultane" and "Don't You Cry."
