Best known as front man for the influential straight-edge punk band 7 Seconds, which he formed with his brother in 1980, Sacramento-based Kevin Seconds started his solo career in 1989, though he continued to tour and write music for his original band. A tremendous departure from his work with 7 Seconds, as a solo artist, Kevin Seconds plays acoustic singer/songwriter rock that is more influenced by folk and alternative than punk. Evidently a musician with diverse tastes, Kevin Seconds also partakes in various side projects, hosts a punk rock radio show and works as an illustrator, when he's not touring solo or with 7 Seconds.
