Katherine Jenkins' talents as a vocalist have won her praise both as an opera and a pop singer. Jenkins was a private voice tutor in 2000 when she won a modeling competition and became the Face of Wales. The media attention helped launch her musical career and there she hasn't turned back since. Between 2004 and 2008 six of her albums topped the classical music charts, winning special praise for her Italian arrangement of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" in 2005. In 2006 she was among entertainers to visit British troops serving in Iraq.
