The Kansas Koyotes was a professional indoor football team based out of Topeka, Kansas that competed in the Champions Professional Indoor Football League. Founded in 2003 as a football team, it was a charter member of the American Professional Football League and managed to win the league's first six championships. In 2012, the Koyotes restructured and started playing indoor football. Though some might have thought this could totally alter the Koyotes playing dynamics, the team's ferocity and competitive spirit remained intact, until it ceased operations in 2014.
