Joy Behar

Joy Behar is a comedian, actress and television personality from Brooklyn, New York who got her start in entertainment in the early 1980s performing stand-up around the local comedy club circuit. She began to earn recognition with features on television shows before she earned her first of several talk shows, Way Off Broadway, on the Lifetime network in 1987. Behar became one of the original panel members of the ABC talk show The View, in 1997, before eventually becoming a permanent co-host, a position she maintained until 2013.
