Though he is now well-established in Canada's pop, R&B and country circuits, Johnny Reid originally called the UK home. The Scotland-born crooner moved to North America in 1988 when he was just 13 years old, and was well on his way to becoming a chart-topping performer within a decade's time. With a raspy voice that calls to mind classic singers such as Rod Stewart, Reid's pipes easily adapt to the frameworks of top-selling mainstream genres such as modern country and contemporary R&B. Between the years of 2007 and 2010, he released three albums--Kicking Stones, Dance with Me and A Place Called Love--all of which went Platinum. And following the tradition of many pop crooners both old and new, 2009 saw the release of his own holiday LP, simply entitled Christmas.
