One of the worlds premier saxophonists, Joe Lovano is a musician from Cleveland who has played in several different jazz ensembles including the Masada Quintet. Having collaborated with some of the most prolific jazz musicians, particularly Paul Motian and Yōsuke Yamashita, he has contributed to well over 30 albums and recorded over two dozen of his own records since 1982. Lovano's post bop style combines modern and classic jazz for a timeless but innovative sound.
