About
Kwasi Danquah, a.k.a. Tinchy Stryder, grew up in London's Eastend. He began performed onstage at the age of 16. Before he signed a record deal in 2006, Stryder performed with The Streets and Lady Sovereign. In 2007, he released his debut album, Star in the Hood. Stryder's international breakthrough in the rapping community came in 2009, with his single "Take Me Back."
