The Jerusalem String Quartet is a baroque ensemble that was founded in 1993. Based out of Israel, the group has won praise from critics for its interpretations of difficult compositions by renowned composers like Brahms and Schubert. Having distinguished itself by winning its first Borletti_Buitoni Trust Award in 2003, The Jerusalem String Quartet has continued to maintain relevancy in the modern classical music world by performing with well known artists like Alexander Melnikov, Lawrence Power and Sharon Kam.
