Janis Ian is the stage name for Janis Eddy Fink, a folk singer/songwriter and science fiction writer from New York City whose career began as a teenage folk singer in the mid-1960s that continues to this day. With over two dozen albums recorded with varying levels of commercial success, Ian's most well-known and revered album stands as her 1975 hit Between the Line, which took the #1 spot on the Billboard charts and included her most popular single, "At Seventeen." Since then, Janis Ian continued a very successful career as a folk musician and singer, with a huge loyal fan base that always looks forward to her next musical endeavor.
