Jan Lisiecki

Jan Lisiecki is a classical pianist who is known for achieving musical and academic excellence at a young age. Originally from Canada, Lisiecki made his orchestra debut in 2004 at the age of nine, and has since traveled across Canada and around the world to perform with orchestras such as Sinfonietta Cravocia, Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra and Sinfornia Varsovia. He has shared the stage with prolific classical musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma, James Ehnes and Pinchas Zukerman and won international awards including the 2011 Jeune Artiste des Radios Francophones. Lisiecki's extraordinary talent and humble spirit inspired the CBC National News documentary, A Reluctant Prodigy.
