Iwrestledabearonce breaks the mold of many of their metal counterparts. While they do not lack in heavy fast guitar slams, they are set apart from other screamo metal bands by their female singer Krysta Cameron who occasionally adds beautiful melodies to an otherwise rough and tough power ballad. Like their name, the band does not take itself too seriously, they seek to entertain and incorporate different genres and comical images to do so. Their sophmore album titled Ruining It For Everybody is heavier, catchier and more cohesive than their previous work but is still spastic and chaotic.
