Faith i Branko

About

Faith i Branko is a duo of musicians who when they first met in 2009 had little in common besides music. Faith is an accordionist and former circus performer from Cotswald, while Branko, who hails from the village of Gornja Grabovica in West Serbia, is a gifted, self-taught violinist. The two met when Faith arrived in Serbia in search of a violinist for her circus band. Despite cultural differences and language barriers, the two fell in love and were soon married. As Faith i Branko, the duo has established a number of music schools and has toured the world performing their special brand of Serbian Roma music at festivals like the Port Fairy Festival, Blue Mountains Festival and Illawarra Festival. Their album Gypsy Lover was released in 2016 and received widespread acclaim.
