Im Hussein is a character created by the Lebanese-American actor and comedian Najee Mondalek. The character was created in 1994, when out of necessity, Mondalek had to dress up as a woman and take the place of the female lead in his play, Smile You're in America. The audience fell in love with Im Hussein and the character has since transcended his persona.
