Hildegard Lernt Fliegen is a Swiss avant-garde jazz group. It was formed in 2005 by lead singer Andreas Schaerer as a means to explore different genres. Its self-titled debut album was released in 2007, followed by ...vom fernen Kern der Sache in 2009. Since then, the group has released works like Cinéma Hildegard, The Fundamental Rhythm of Unpolished Brains and The Waves Are Rising, Dear!
