Hunters is a garage rock band from New York that was founded in 2010. Managing to become critical darlings of the Brooklyn lo-fi music community, Hunters has collaborated with the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner as well as Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha. Having been in somewhat of an incubation mode since its inception, 2013 served as a breakout year for the band, with it releasing its debut album and making its arrival on the nationwide lo-fi scene through several appearances at the renowned Austin, Texas music festival South by Southwest.
