Sonata Arctica is a Finnish power metal band that was originally formed in 1996 as Tricky Beans. Two years later, the band changed its name to Sonata Arctica just before releasing its first album Ecliptica in 1998. Powered by falsetto vocals, the group completes its signature melodic sound with quick-fired riffs and massive guitar solos.
