This former Advanced Rookie League affiliate of the New York Yankees was founded in 1942 and was one of the top contenders of the division, with three league titles and 10 division titles to its name. Supported by most people of Pulaski, Virgina, fans flocked by the dozen at its home - Calfee Park, whenever the team took the field.
