About
Founded in 1982, Danville Braves was one of the top contenders of the Appalachian League. This former MiLB Rookie affiliate of the Atlanta braves boasted four League titles and 10 Division tiles, that made it a force to be reckoned with, every season. It played its home games at the American Legion Field in Danville, Virginia, and was known to have been the stepping stone for the careers of popular figures such as Rafael Furcal, Jason Marquis and Marcus Giles.
