Shooter Jennings is a southern rock and alternative country singer/songwriter, guitarist and actor who grew up surrounded by rock and roll legends such as Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash while on tour with his parents and country music icons, Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter. Immersed in music, he learned how to play drums, piano and eventually guitar by the time he was a teenager. Jennings released his debut solo album, Put the "O" Back in Country, in 2005, the same year he appeared in the Johnny Cash biopic, Walk the Line, as his father, Waylon Jennings. He dropped his sixth studio album, The Other Life, in 2013.
