Greeley Estates is a metalcore outfit that originally emerged out of Phoenix with an emo, post hardcore sound in 2002. After releasing two studio albums, the band shifted its sound to metalcore with its third album Go West Young Man, Let the Evil Go East, in 2008. The heavier sound proved to be commercially viable as the Greeley Estates' subsequent two records, 2010's No Rain, No Rainbow and 2011's The Death of Greeley Estates, earned the band mainstream attention and top five spots on the US Heatseekers chart.
