Grails is a Portland, Oregon-based instrumental rock band that was founded in 1999. The group spent its formative years, playing a high number of shows and refining its post-rock meets psychedelia sound. The group released its debut album, The Burden of Hope, in 2003 and since then the group has kept active, releasing additional albums and maintaining a regular performance regime.
