The Golden Dragon Acrobats is a Chinese acrobatic company that has built a reputation for featuring the world's preeminent acrobats. The tradition of acrobatics began over 25 centuries ago and has been honored by Lien Chi Chang and his family since 1967, when they founded the Golden Dragon Acrobats. After 17 years of watching his father run the company, Danny Chang inherited the position of President of the Golden Dragon Acrobats when his Lien accepted the head coaching job at the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts. Danny turned the small business into a world renowned company by focusing his efforts in the US, where with the help of manager Bill Fegan, Golden Dragon Acrobats is recognized as the premier Chinese acrobatic company for its award-winning acrobatics, authentic traditional dance, artistic direction and the use of both ancient and contemporary music.
